Privacy Policy for Safe Bites

1. Data Controller

Training and data processing are provided by Mustafa Salman Ahmed ("Safe Bites"). Contact: [mustafa@safebites.ie].

2. Data We Collect

• Account Data: Full name, email address, role, and location.
• Training Data: Course progress, quiz scores, and certificate issuance dates.
• Organization Data: Organization name and employee association via Invite Codes.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process data to provide HACCP Level 1 & 2 training, issue certificates, and allow Organization Owners to monitor employee compliance.

4. Organization Rights

By joining an Organization via an Invite Code, you acknowledge that the Organization Owner has the right to access your training progress, completion status, and certificates for compliance monitoring.

5. Data Retention

• Active user profile data is deleted upon account deletion.
• Certificates: In accordance with food safety record-keeping best practices, training certificates are retained for 3 years to ensure compliance evidence is available for EHO inspections.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for data hosting and RevenueCat for payment processing.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. You may delete your account at any time via the App Settings.
